Dylan Hayes Organ Trio at the Beaver Sessions February 5, 2023

Dylan Hayes Organ Trio (feat. Martin Budde & Xavier Lecouturier) soundin real good at The Beaver Sessions. First tune by Hayes, dedicated to Stevie Wonder, super cool head and funky, good vibe. Next two tunes were composed by Budde, more oblique. Then they did a Beegees cover, “How Deep Is Your Love.” Saxophonist joined in, blew some sweet 70s melodic lines. Next tune was dedicated to John Clayton, composed by Hayes, very compelling. His stuff is tight. Last tune was a ballad, not sure the composer. Love the playing of Lecouturier: snappy, sets the tone.
