Caught Leif and Phil at WeRise Wine Bar across the street from the Moore Theater, where hundreds lined up to see Ten, a Pearl Jam tribute band.

They are a seasoned duo and they played standards like “Round Midnight, “Rhythm Changes” and then also “Don’t Know Why” made famous by Norah Jones, others. It was classic head/solos/head format executed with panache, at the perfect volume for the venue, relaxed, welcome.

WeRise a newish spot, pouring wines from Black, women, LGBTQ+, Latinx and AAPI winemakers, including Dossier, a winery owned by former Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice.
